Tours

Our tours take place in the company of a knowledgeable guide

and last approximately one hour.

You will learn more about these magnificent creatures and should have the chance to take some amazing photographs.

Your tour guide will distribute food throughout the trip, which will bring

the Deer up close and personal.

Our 4 x 4 tour vehicle can take groups of up to 6 people.

Open 10am to 4pm - Closed Tuesdays

Our menu offers a range of delicious bites including

Toasted Ciabatta, Burgers, Soups,

Hot and Cold Filled Rolls

and the ever popular Big Breakfast,

all prepared to order.

We also have the kids covered,

and a range of Gluten-Free options,

as well as a selection of tempting sweet treats!

Escape Room

The evil Troll King is trying to take control of Bainloch Wood, and the Woodland Wizard needs your help to defeat him!

The Wizard has cast a protective spell over the wood, however the Wizard's power

will only last for one hour.

After this time, if the King has not been defeated, he will gain hold

over the woodland and all it's creatures

Pay a visit to our Visitor Centre cafe, and enjoy not only beautiful views over the Deer Park and beyond, but a spacious and contemporary interior.


Bainloch Deer Park is set in the wild hills overlooking the Solway Coast and is home to Japanese sika, wild roe deer and Britain’s largest land mammal, the majestic red deer.


Find Us

Bainloch Deer Park is situated in Sandyhills, approximately seven miles from Dalbeattie, Dumfries and Galloway, south-west Scotland. Directions:

From Dumfries, Stranraer or Castle Douglas on the A75, follow the signs for Dalbeattie

and take the A710 signposted ‘Colvend Coast.’

Opposite Sandyhills beach car park, turn left and our entrance is just 250 yards further up on the right,

on the bend shortly before the entrance to Barend Holiday Village.

Follow our drive up for around half a mile and you will find us at the top!
